Patient Participation Group (PPG)

New group members are always welcome
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.
To help us with this, we are continually looking for patients to join our PPG. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email or post and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.
Join Our Patient Participation Group (PPG)
At Central Uxbridge Surgery, we believe the best way to improve our services is to listen to the people who use them — you.
Our PPG is a friendly group of patients who meet with our partners, management, clinical, and non-clinical teams to share ideas, raise concerns, and work together to make positive changes.
Whether it’s discussing appointment access, the quality of care, or new services we could offer, your voice matters.
We welcome patients from all walks of life — young people, busy professionals, retirees, carers, people with long-term conditions, and those from different cultural backgrounds. The more diverse our group, the better we can represent our community.
How it works:
- We’ll contact you occasionally by email or post with short surveys or invitations to meetings.
- Meetings are relaxed, inclusive, and designed to fit around your availability.
- Your input helps shape the future of our surgery.
Why join?
- Have your say on the way your local NHS services are run.
- Help us understand what’s working well and what can be improved.
- Be part of a team making a real difference to patient care.
