When we are Closed

One of the doctors is always available; whilst the surgery premises are open; to deal with serious illness that needs immediate attention before the next surgery. Please ensure that you give the telephone number that you are calling from to the receptionist.

When the surgery premises are shut we wish to stress that calls OUT OF SURGERY HOURS are strictly for emergencies only.

If you are in need of medical attention that cannot wait until the surgery is next open, phone the surgery and you will be re-directed to our out of hours service. The person receiving your call will ask you details of your GP, your name, address, telephone number and a brief outline of the problem. You will be phoned back by a qualified nurse who may give advice, suggest you see a doctor or arrange an ambulance. Some of the doctors will be based at Hillingdon Hospital; others will be out visiting in a specially equipped car. You may be asked to come to the hospital rather than be seen at home.

NHS Direct

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
